Issac Knight and Al Black are brothers-in-law, and Al, super salesman-turned-artist, engaged Isaac to come sell paintings of Alfred Hair and other Highwaymen along side him. Quickly realizing how lucrative the practice was, Isaac began painting and selling his own art work. Like others in the association of artists, Isaac held a full-time job with Northrop Grumman Aerospace for 30 years. He painted and sold on weekends. Asked about the lucrativeness of his side business, he pointed to the large yard adjacent to his nice family home, and said painting paid for it.
